Class 2, District 1, basketball seedings released

The seedings have been released for the Class 2, District 1, varsity boys and girls basketball tournaments. The tournaments will take place Feb. 16-22 at Bloomfield High School. Hayti (16-6) has received the No. 1 seed in the 9-team boys bracket. Hayti has a 10-1 record against teams in Class 2, District 1, and has beat every team in the tournament with the exception of Campbell at least once. Hayti is the defending champion in the district and placed third at the Class 2 final four last season...
