Shemonia helps Rams to victory at Chaffee Invitational
04/30/10 Scott City's Brandon Shemonia had two individual wins to help the Rams to victory Thursday in the 11-team Chaffee Invitational. Shemonia had a winning time of 4 minutes, 41 seconds in the 1,600 meters and won the 3,200 in 10:42. The Rams, who finished 30 points ahead of runner-up Malden, also won the 800 relay in 1:36.83...

04/28/10 Nolan Urhahn drove in five runs to help Oran hold off Woodland 8-7 in baseball action Tuesday. The Eagles jumped out to an 8-2 lead after three innings then withstood the Cardinals' rally. Kody Moore picked up the win while Gabe Kielhofner got the save for Oran (10-6)...

Good luck Lady Wildcats!! Start the season off by winning the Woodland Tournament!
deervalley..been hearing a few things..sounds like conditioning has started for a couple southern Bollinger County teams. Official practice should start around the 9th. I think we have alot of exciting games to look forward to, competition should even up this year.

Leopold volleyball is about a month away. What's happening? Any predictions?
The first game Friday is at 9:45 AM for the Varsity against Campbell and the JV play at 10:30 against Twin Rivers JV. Eight games total Friday, four for each.
Saturday JV starts at 10:00 AM against Saxony Luthern JV and the Varsity starts at 10:45 against Puxico.
The Varsity and Jr Varsity will play in the Rib City Shoot Out on July 9th and 10th at Dexter. 25 varsity teams and 10 Jr. Varsity teams are expected. Do not have times yet but will post when they become available.
Benefit Skeet Shoot this Sunday @ 1:00PM at the Keith Brotherton farm off Highway cc on County Road 320. Watch for Blue and White balloons. Proceeds to support Wildcat Summer Basketball. For details call 208-8752. Donations welcome. Not responsible for accidents
Way to go Leopold Baseball. I think it is a big deal to win the tournament regardless of what the opposing coach thinks. Also, a triple play, I have been around baseball and softball and that is the first one I ever saw in person. Once again, nice job to both the girls for their second and the boys for their first and good luck for the rest of the season.
