SCAA Roundup: Bloomfield baseball team stays perfect, other SCAA schools secure wins
The success continued Thursday for the undefeated Bloomfield Widlcats high school baseball team. Bloomfield improved to 6-0 with 29-3 win against Richland. "It's always nice to record a conference win and I was glad to see some different guys step up and contribute when given an opportunity to play," Bloomfield coach Tyler Trover said. Local teams to feel effects of district realignment

The winds of change are blowing for some local teams as the Missouri High School Activities Association recently announced class and district alignments for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. Class assignments are based on school enrollments. For basketball, the state's 128 smallest schools are in Class 1. Classes 2 and 3 also consist of 128 schools each, while the next 96 schools make up Class 4. The remainder -- the state's largest schools -- are in Class 5...
