Maurice Davis has done it again. The Kelly senior successfully defended his state title in the 100-meter dash, finishing the race in 10.87 seconds at the Class 2 state track and field championships Saturday in Jefferson City, Missouri. Davis also added a second-place finish in the 200 (22.50), an event in which he placed fifth a year ago, and a seventh-place finish in the triple jump (41 feet, 2 inches). MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- It was a dream first inning for Oran and certainly not one that dreams are made of for Scott City. But a game is seven innings, and the Rams can swing the bats.
