SENATH - Nestled inside Senath-Hornersville High School, just past two sets of double doors beyond the gymnasium, is room that was once home to the school's music program. As that program dissolved, it was inherited by the athletic program which refurbished it as a weight room.

MALDEN - On Thursday, Senath-Hornersville's baseball season came to a grinding halt as they fell 7-0 to Malden in the semifinals of the Class 3, District 1 tournament. The Lions pitching faltered early, while their offense struggled to mount a significant threat to get themselves back into the game.

A long hot day of baseball saw Kennett and Senath-Hornersville advance in their respective district tournaments. Meanwhile Holcomb and Campbell saw their seasons come to an end in the Class 2, District 1 tournament in Bernie.

If you would be interested in starting a Football Booster Club let me know. I will try to start a 4th-6th grade Tackle Football program for fall 2010. if you are interested in helping organize this let me know. if this shows interest maybe Football will be part of the school sports program soon. There will be a sign up sheet for the students at Rameys on the bulletin board and the Hornersville and Senath Public Libraries. and A sign up sheet for possible Booster Club members at Rameys. I have to go before Senath City Council but most likely we will be able to convert the soccer field to a football field. I hope to have 4th-6th Grade in 2010 and add 7th and 8th the next year and go from there.
