Sweet 100: Tribe wins conference title as Vaughan gets career win No. 100
Aaron Lynn ~ 01/20/10 STEELE, Mo. -- It was definitely a night to remember for the Kennett Indians. First of all, the Tribe won the Bootheel Conference Championship Tuesday night with a 102-56 win over the South Pemiscot Bulldogs. On top of that, Tuesday's win was the 100th for Kennett head coach Jim Vaughn and it was the first time Kennett cracked 100 points this season... 
Kennett, Lady Lions roll in league play
01/15/10 STEELE, Mo. -- The Senath-Hornersville Lady Lions jumped out to a 31-point halftime and never looked back, recording their fifth straight victory with a 63-27 triumph over South Pemiscot here Thursday night. In other area games, Kennett defeated Malden 53-31 in another Bootheel Conference contest...

Mike Buhler ~ 12/06/09 GIDEON, Mo. -- Jerica Wheeler scored 13 of her team-high 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Kennett Lady Indians pulled away late to take a 63-54 win over Senath-Hornersville in the finals of the Bulldog Classic here Saturday night. Both teams battled back and forth and no team held more than a five-point lead until the middle of the final period... 
Kennett, Lady Lions to meet for title

Now that rivalry may be headed up a notch. Both Kennett and the Lady Lions won their respective semifinal contests Friday night at the Bulldog Classic and will face each other for the tournament's title on Saturday night... |
