I predict that Zalma will be hard to beat next year. They would give other teams a run for their money now if they had more players.
Watch out Lepold!!
Zalma Bulldogs your doing great keep up the good work.
UPDATED SCHEDULE -
There have been some changes to our schedule that have not been added on here yet.
*The Sept. 21 game against Greenville has been moved to October 5. It is still a home game and starts at 6 p.m.
*The weekend of September 18-19 is the Puxico JV Tournament. Pool play lasts all evening Friday followed by bracket play Saturday morning. We play Puxico at 4:30 p.m. followed by Doniphan at 6:45 p.m. and Richland at 8:15 p.m. We will be playing in the gymnasium, not the multipurpose building/cafeteria. Depending on how we do in pool play, we will either play at 9 or 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
*October 9 we play Eagle Ridge Christian Academy (Cape Girardeau) at 6 p.m. It's an away game. Since it's our first time playing them, for those who don't know where the school is located, it's on Route K out past Wal-Mart and is located on the right-hand side of the road right before you get to Notre Dame Regional High School (if you're coming from Cape Wal-Mart).
*October 15-17 is the Mississippi Valley Conference Tournament for junior varsity and varsity teams. We are hosting the conference tournament this year. Teams in our conference include us, Leopold, Meadow Heights, Marquand-Zion, Oak Ridge, and Greenville. Times and schedules to be announced at a later date.
*October 26-27 is the Class 1 District 3 Tournament at Saxony Lutheran High School in Jackson/Fruitland. Times and schedules to be announced at a later date.
Way to go Lady Bulldogs!! Was so glad to hear about your win tonight!!
Just wanted to say great game tonight Lady Bulldogs in the Woodland Tournament! You scared us there during the first set but got your acts together and pulled through for a glorious upset over Meadow Heights. Practice hard and play strong and be ready to take on Leopold Thursday night! :)
