SIKESTON -- The Sikeston Junior Legion Auxiliary Unit 114 baseball team posted its second 10-run rule victory over Farmington in the past week.

Sikeston (14-10) defeated Farmington 11-1 in six innings on Wednesday night at VFW Stadium behind a complete-game victory by Darrin Dicus.

Dicus allowed two hits with four walks and six strikeouts.

Josh Carlyle led the way with three hits and a walk. Timmy Hart, Stephen Beydler and Caleb Davidson each had two hits.

Unit 114 has 38 hits in its last three games.

"We're starting to hit the ball pretty well," said Sikeston coach Steve Beydler. "Our pitching is holding up well and our defense is playing well behind them. We're doing what we have to do to win."

Sikeston will host Cape Junior Legion today at 6 p.m. They will host Scott County Junior Legion tomorrow at 6 p.m.
