East Prairie Junior High track teams wins SEMO South title

The East Prairie Junior High Girls track team won the SEMO South Conference title this spring. The team ended the season with several place finishes. Jennifer Nicholson took first in the 75 meter hurdles and Courtney Carden finished third. The girls 4x200 relay team made up of Alayna Crumley, Shayna Hall, Lydia Chance, Macey Bratton, came in first. In the 100 meter dash, Crumley finished second with Briana Strayhorn taking third. Savanna Barker placed third in the 1600 meter run. The girls 4 x 100 meter team of Crumley, Strayhorn, Chance, Bratton, took first. Jessica Kirby went third in the 400 meter dash. Bratton placed second in the 200 meter dash. The team of Carden, Caitlin Lindsey, Barker, Kirby, finished second in the 4 x 400 meter relay. Hall took fourth in the long jump while Nicholson placed first in the triple jump with Strayhorn taking third. Nicholson received a first in the shot put with Ashley Medina taking second. In the discus Nicholson placed first and Medina second.
