Poplar Bluff sophomore Travis Blalock won the senior division at the Jackson Invitational while Hannah Blalock, a freshman, was second in the senior girls race Saturday.

Blalock won his race on the 2.5-mile course in 12 minutes, 40 seconds.

Hannah ran a 14:48, 13 seconds behind St. Joseph's Gena Bleyer, who finished 22nd at last year's state meet as a junior.

Jasmin Sumrall was fifth in the junior division for the Lady Mules in 15:58, while Julia Huck was 13th in the senior race at 17:06.

Ashley Snapko finished 19th in the freshman race, running the 1.9 miles in 14:44.
