Game 4: Scott County Central shuts down Chaffee

The fourth-seeded Scott County Central Braves rolled up a 55-14 halftime lead and went on to beat Chaffee 94-27 in the first round of the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament.

The Braves (7-1) pressured Chaffee into numerous turnovers with a full-court defense led by senior guard D.D. Gillespie, who scored 19 points.

Caleb Johnson had 20 points to lead the Braves. Freshman Otto Porter chipped in with 14, and Bobby Hatchett added 10.

Chaffee was led by Andy Hendrix's 10 points.
