GAME 7: Cape Central pulls away from Woodland

By Rachel Crader ~ Semoball.com

For the first time in the seven games that had been played in the 2007 Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament, the number of points separating the two teams was less than 10 after one quarter of play.

The seventh-seeded Cape Central Tigers led 10th-seeded Woodland by just three points after one period.

Just like the other seven games, though, the higher-seeded Tigers pulled away to win 61-43.

Chase Johnson led the Tigers with 15 points, while Anthony Watts contributed 13.

As a team, Woodland hit 10 3-pointers accounting for more than 67 percent of its points. Caleb Lee ended the game with 12 points, all in the first half, and Josh Hahn scored nine.
