Tesha Swafford had a no-hitter heading into the sixth inning as Clearwater picked up its first win since the spring season of last year.
Wynona got three runs in the sixth inning to cut its deficit to two, but Swafford struck out the final batter of the inning on a 3-2 count to end the threat with the tying run on third.
The Clearwater (1-1) offense erupted for nine, including five runs in the first inning.
Alex Green drove in four runs and was 2-for-4.
Naylor 5, Bernie 0
Chelsea Lane had 17 strikeouts as Naylor moved past Bernie on Friday afternoon.
"Chelsea has worked and really got her changeup working and is hitting her spots really well," Naylor assistant coach Gene Deckard said. "She has learned how to pitch instead of just throw. She has got enough speed where if you are not looking for her fastball, she will throw it by you."
Moriah Goodrum led the Lady Eagles (2-1) with two RBIs in the win.
"Out offense isn't as potent as we want it to be but we are working on that," Deckard said. "We have a little more speed than we had in the fall."
