SIKESTON -- The Sikeston tennis team defeated Cape Central 5-4 Tuesday afternoon at the Sikeston tennis courts.

"I was very pleased to come out with a win. Cape has several matches under their belt and they've played a very tough schedule so far," said Sikeston coach Brian James. "They've got a very good team and I was curious as to how we would fare against them today."
