Able to play outside (3.7 assists per game) and inside (7.7 rebounds per game), Heil led Dexter to a share of the conference championship for the first time in school history and to a district title (in Class 4) for just the second time in school history.

She finished second in school history for points in a season and tied the school record for points in a single game when she exploded for 42 (and 10 rebounds) in an 81-66 victory against Class 3 state-ranked Portageville. She hit six 3-pointers in that game.

"She is a very good leader, not only on the court but off the court as well," Dexter coach Chad Allen told the Sikeston Standard Democrat. "She was the player we looked to go to when the game was on the line."

Honors: Co-Player of the Year with Jane Morrill in the SEMO Conference; Missouri Basketball Coaches Association all-state team for Class 4; First-team all-state selection in Class 4 by the Missouri Sportscasters and Sports writers Association.
