SEMOBALL HIGH 5 RATINGS | High school football (after sectionals)

1. Jackson (7-5) ... Four straight wins include playoff upsets at Chaminade and Parkway North to move Jackson into the Class 5 quarterfinals. Four of the Indians' losses have come against state quarterfinal teams. Last week: 1

2. New Madrid County Central (10-2) ... Impressive offensive performance in a 72-52 win at Ste. Genevieve in the Class 5 playoffs on Monday. That followed a thumping of Potosi to avenge an earlier defeat. Last week: 2.

3. Sikeston (5-5) ... Ended season with 27-26 loss to Farmington, which is in Class 4 quarterfinals. Last week: 3.

4. Hayti (9-2) ... Won playoff opener against Paris, but couldn't stop Valle in 32-14 loss in Class 1 sectional. Last week: 4.

5. Poplar Bluff (4-6) ... Highlight of season included opening win at New Madrid County Central. Lost four straight to end the season. Last week: 5.

Honorable mention

St. Vincent (6-4) ... Was knocked out of Class 1 playoffs with second loss of the season to Valle.

SMJ1982, you got the Jackson score right, they got 10, but what happened to Eureka? Sounds like a choke. Go Jackson, bring home a win this week & then the DOME!!!

Let's see what Jackson can do against Powerhouse, Eureka.

There 30-0 win over North was a fluke.

NMCC sould definately be the number 1 team round here i mean come on they put up 70 plus on St. Gen and more than 60 on kennett
