GAME 5: Cape Central 60, Oak Ridge 49

No. 5 seed Cape Central struggled Oak Ridge in the first half never really put away the No. 12 seed Blue Jays until the final minute of the first-round game at the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament.

After leading by just two points at halftime and just 51-47 late in the fourth, the Tigers won 60-49.

Kevin Casasola and Robert Walls led Cape Central with 12 points, and Terrance Howard added nine.

Casasola hit two 3-pointers for Central, and his layin on a break with less than 4 minutes to play put Central up 51-44.

But Oak Ridge, which had rallied with two long 3-pointers by Brett Thomas, came back within four before being outscored 9-2 down the strech.

Thomas and Garret Light scored all but four of Oak Ridge's points. Thomas scored 25, and Light had 20.
