Scott County Central was relentless in an 87-55 trouncing of Charleston in a semifinal game at the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament.
Drew Thomas scored 24 points, including one thunderous slam and one 3-pointer, to lead five players into double figures Monday night.
Otto Porter added 19 points; guard Bobby Hatchett had 16, including a slam early in the game; Randy Timmons had 13, including two 3-pointers; and Desmin Williams scored 11.
Scott County Central scored the game's first 15 points and sprinted out to a 57-32 halftime lead.
Donald Dixon was held scoreless the first 6 minutes and finished with 11 points to lead the Bluejays.
