NEOSHO -- The Three Rivers Lady Raiders ended their regular season on a high note Friday night at Crowder.

The Lady Raiders led by nine at half and won the second half on the way to the win, 72-60.

"It was good to get that win and stop that fourgame slide in the region," Three Rivers coach Jeff Walk said. "We did well last night, weathered a couple storms."

The Lady Raiders take on State Fair at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the Region XVI tournament at the Bess Activity Center.

Fareedah Washington was the high scorer on the game with 22 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Raiders. The Lady Raiders were aggressive on the glass as they outrebounded the Lady Roughriders, 44-27.

Crowder took a 3-point lead with less than 10 minutes remaining in the contest before the Lady Raiders tied the game and took the lead for good.

"We had legs back," Walk said. "We were a step quicker than what they were for whatever reason."

The Lady Raiders finished the game shooting 52.4 percent from 2-point range while shooting just 25 percent from 3-point range. Crowder shot 29.6 percent from 3-point range on the game on 8-27 shooting.
