Leopold JV won the championship of the MHHS JV tournament over the #1 seed St. Vincent Indians 48 -27 to improve their record to 4 - 0.

Leopold JV defeated Woodland 55 - 39 in the Leopold JV tournament. Saxony defeated Delta by 3 I think in game two. It is a four team tournament with each team having three games and the best record wins. The games will start Thrusday at 6:00 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM depending on the weather. The Leopold JV is now 9-0 and could use the stands full Thursday and Saturday.

Thank you for keeping all of us Leopold fans up to date on the JV team this year. I haven't been able to make it to a game yet, so I rely on the bloggers to know what's going on. It is appreciated, I will continue to check in on the JV team on a daily basis.

The Leopold JV tournament is back on for this Thursday and Saturday and I assume with the same schedule. Games start at 6:00 PM Thursday the 14th and at 2:00 PM Saturday the 16th. If I hear different I will let you know.

Leopold JV improved to 10 - 0 defeating Oak Ridge 60 - 50 Tuesday night. Next game for the JV is Thursday at 6:00PM in the Leopold JV tournament. I think they play Delta

Leopold JV suffered their first loss of the season last night against Delta in the Leopold JV Tournamnet. Leopold JV now 10 - 1. Final score 46 - 64 Delta.

Varsity and Junior Varsity play tonight at Marquand. JV plays Saxony at Leopold tomorrow @ 3:15 in JV tournamnet. Delta plays Woodland @ 2:00

Leopold JV defeated Marquand 63 - 27 to go to 11 - 1 on Friday.

They then came back on Saturday to defeat Saxony 52 - 33 for second place behind Delta in the Leopold JV Tournament and improve to 12 - 1.

Meadow Heights comes to Leopold Tuesday. 6:00 PM game time.

Leopold JV won on the road at Richland 51 - 32 to become 14 - 1.

The Leopold JV won 53 - 47 against Chaffee to go to 15 - 1. Leopold is seeded 1st in the JV Confrence Tournament next week with Chaffee 2nd. The Tournament is played at Chaffee this year. The Varsity is also seeded 1st.

The Leopold JV defeated the MHHS Panthers in the semifinals at Chaffee of the Mississippi Valley Conference Tournamnet 60 - 23. Their record inproves to 16 - 1 and they will play Chaffee Friday night @ 7:00 for the championship. Hope to see a big crowd from Leopold since the Varsity will be playing Oak Ridge for the Championship also.

Leopold JV defeated Chaffee to win the MVC tournament championship with a final score of 54 - 37. This gives them a record of 17 - 1 for the season. They will face Oran tonight at 6:00 and then have two games left in the season unless some of the snow games are made up. They will face Delta next week at home who gave them their only loss.

The Varsity defeated Oak Ridge for the Championship 51 - 41, WHAT A GAME! I think Leopold is ranked 5th in class 1 and Oak Ridge 8th in Class 2 in the state.

The Leopold JV improved to 18-1 with a win over Oran 48 -34. The half time score was 20 - 22 Oran but after a discussion at half time the Wildcat JV came out to play. Good job Coach. The Wildcats outscored Oran 28 - 14 in the second half.

What about the Varsity! Defeating Oak Ridge and Oran in the same week. Great Job!

No JV game last night against Zalma. How about the varsity though. Great game guys and Lance Seiler had a career night,way to go LANCE.

The JV will be back in action Friday night against the only team so far to beat them, Delta. Hopefully we will have a big crowd and it is Homecoming.

The Leopold JV suffered their second lost of the season. It was against the team that had beaten them by 20 earlier in the season, Delta. It was 32 all at half time and 33-36 Delta at the end of the third quarter. Leopold had as much as a 6 point lead in the fiurth quarter and the score was 47 - 44 Leopold with 29.1 seconds left. Mental errors caused a foul with 2.7 seconds left and the score tied when Delta made one of the two free throws and lepold could not convert. Final score 47-48 Delta. Leopold JV 18 - 2 with two games left.

The Leopold JV ended the season with 2 losses Thursday and Friday for a record of 18 - 4. Still a great season but hard losses when they lost by a combined total of 8 points. The first game against Advance ended 46 - 48 with the game tied with 4.3 seconds and Leopold never leading in the fourth quarter. We went to Puxico Friday night and lost 59 - 65 after being behind 42 - 55 starting the fourth quarter. One thing can be said about the kids all year, they never quit. Great year and good luck next year.

The varsity had a split going into districts. They lost to Advance 68 - 81 and defeated Puxico 69 - 51. Good luck guys at Delta this week.

deervalley, our records show that the JV scored a total of 1157 points for a avereage of 52.5 points per game and allowed 824 points for an average of 37.45 points per game. (Our records could be off we missed 1 game of the Meadow Heights JV tournament and had to ask someone for the scores of that game.) Their 4 losses were by a combined total of 27 points...a very impressive year in our books!!

Way to go Leopold Baseball. I think it is a big deal to win the tournament regardless of what the opposing coach thinks. Also, a triple play, I have been around baseball and softball and that is the first one I ever saw in person. Once again, nice job to both the girls for their second and the boys for their first and good luck for the rest of the season.

The Varsity and Jr Varsity will play in the Rib City Shoot Out on July 9th and 10th at Dexter. 25 varsity teams and 10 Jr. Varsity teams are expected. Do not have times yet but will post when they become available.

The first game Friday is at 9:45 AM for the Varsity against Campbell and the JV play at 10:30 against Twin Rivers JV. Eight games total Friday, four for each.

Saturday JV starts at 10:00 AM against Saxony Luthern JV and the Varsity starts at 10:45 against Puxico.

deervalley..been hearing a few things..sounds like conditioning has started for a couple southern Bollinger County teams. Official practice should start around the 9th. I think we have alot of exciting games to look forward to, competition should even up this year.

Leopold won and now have thier first chance for a district title, ever, I think. The game is at Poplar Bluff High School at 7:30 PM Wednesday. For all of you that were at the game Monday night, come back with a friend Wednesday to help fill the stands. For those of you that could not attend last night, be there Wedensday with a friend and help cheer the boys on. They need our support. And luckly for them, support is usually not a problem and hopefully we can keep it that way. Good Luck.

Great Season WILDCATS!

Thanks to our Seniors John, Lance and Robert for all thier hard work they put forth this season. These are some real fine young men and will be successful in whatever they do. We will miss you.

To the returning team: Next season will be here before you know it. Work on your game in the off season and be ready to lead the Mighty Wildcats to another victourius season.

Thanks to our coaches for all thier hard work, dedication and long nights away from your family and homes.

I have truely enjoyed watching the WILDCATS this season and I'm very proud of them.

I'm looking forward to next season already!

GREAT SEASON Wildcats 21-6!!!!! I'm very proud of you all this year.

Thanks to our Seniors Gregg, Kody, Matt, and Gavin for all thier hard work they put forth this year. We will miss you all. Best of luck to you in all that you do.

To the returning team: Next season will be here before you know it. Work on your game in the off season and be ready to lead the Mighty Wildcats to another victourius season.

Thanks to Coach Beck and Coach Thoma for all thier hard work, dedication.

I have really enjoyed watching the WILDCATS this season again.

I'm looking forward to next season already!
