Central Junior High cheerleaders win big at camp

Central Junior High Cheerleaders attended the NCA (National Cheerleaders Association) Camp at Southeast Missouri State University July 20th through 23rd with about 35 squads attending, and were awarded the following awards: Five blue SUPERIOR ribbons, one red EXCELLENT ribbon, NCA Spirit Stick awarded all four days of camp, Technical Excellence award for Motion Technique, Herkie Team Award, bid to NCA Nationals in Dallas Texas, all 16 cheerleaders were nominated for All-American Cheerleader (only squad at the camp to achieve this), First Place Champion Chant trophy, First place Top Team Trophy, all 16 cheerleaders were invited to participate in one of NCA's special events, and both coaches earned NCA Coaches Credentialing. The CJHS Cheerleaders are looking forward to a very successful season and are working hard to prepare for their national competition in February.
