District: Class 1 District 1 at Gideon (Delta, Naylor, North Pemiscot, Risco, Southland)

Key Returners: Taylor Richardson, Jordan Jones

Overview: The Reindeer won their first district title last year since 2003 and are looking to build on a positive 20-7 mark. The team will be without Justin Brown, Dustin Ferguson and Casey Redden from last season.

"We lost three really good players, there is no secret to that," Blackburn said.

Back from last season is point guard Jordan Jones and post man Mikey Jones who should a be force for the Reindeer in the paint as a sophomore.

"We have a lot of potential this year with our team," Blackburn said. "We have more depth and more size. The way we play is different, we are not so guard-oriented."

The Reindeer have some height for their opponents to deal with as Zach Farmer is 6-4 and Junior Brown and Killian Jones are 6-3.
