Doniphan cross country team wins again

The Doniphan varsity girls cross country team competed in the Eminence Invitational on October 13th, bringing home their third first place team win. Leading the five-girl team on a tough course with steep hills, was freshman Kalli Hill in fourth place with a time of 23:25, followed by Kaitlyn Burgess in fifth at 24:19, Shelby Burgess in seventh at 24:26, Brittney Ritter in ninth at 25:42, and Melinda Holmes in 13th place at 26:34. All five girls earned individual medals.

Jimmy Kramer lead all varsity boy runners winning the first place medal with a time of 18:34.

The junior high cross country team brought home five ribbons. In the girls division, Michaela Brady placed first, Chailland Aaron fourth, Janelle Mischka fifth, and Melanie White sixth. John Michael Ezell placed fourth for the junior high boys.
