Heartland Heat 14U softball team won first place in the 2013 Babe Ruth Midwest Plains Regional tournament. The Heat scored 73 runs and only allowed 20 runs. Samantha Welter was the winning pitcher in the championship game. Kelsi Miller recieved the MVP award for the game. Callie Roberts hit a walk off wining run, giving the Heat the 4 - 3 win!
