Farley earns indoor track and field weekly honors

Southeast Missouri State junior Kevin Farley was named the Ohio Valley Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week on Wednesday in the first weekly awards of the indoor track and field season.

Farley finished third in the weight throw and fourth in the shot put at the Saluki Fast Start meet on Dec. 7. He secured third with a throw of 61 feet, 1/4 inch and fourth with a shot put of 57-7.

Southeast's next meet is on Jan. 25 at SIU Edwardsville.
