Southeast men's basketball signs power forward
The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team has signed 6-foot-7 power forward Aaron Adeoye, according to a university press release.
Adeoye is transferring to Southeast from Western Kentucky University and will have one year of eligibility.
"Aaron is a natural power forward that will complement our team immediately," Southeast coach Dickey Nutt said in the release. "He is very physical, has a nose for the ball and is capable of being a good scorer. Those are all things we welcome and we are very proud to have Aaron join our program."
Adeoye, a graduate of Marion High School in Marion, Ill., averaged 3.6 points and 4.3 rebounds at Western Kentucky last season.
He played at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill., as a sophomore and averaged 14.3 points and 8 rebounds.
He averaged 3.5 points and 4.2 rebounds at Ball State as a freshman, and earned Mid-American Conference All-Freshman team honors.
I'll have more information on this later.
