Final: Southeast 24, Southeastern Louisiana 23
Southeast scored with 4.6 seconds remaining in the game on a 2-yard pass from quarterback Kyle Snyder to receiver Paul McRoberts.
Ryan McCrum made the PAT, which was called back, and also the rekick to put the Redhawks up 24-23.
Southeast had taken a 17-10 lead with 8:24 to go in the third on a 12-yard McRoberts reception.
SLU scored on a 4-yard pass with 5:18 remaining in the game, but their two-point conversion run was stopped to make it 17-16.
SLU scored again with 2:53 remaining on a 22-yard run by quarterback Bryan Bennett and the PAT made it 23-17.
Southeast's win marks its second against a Top-5 FCS opponent. The Redhawks last won against a Top-5 team when they defeated then-No. 5 Southern Illinois in 2010.

The Southeast Missouri State football heads into halftime tied with No. 3/4 Southeastern Louisiana.
Southeastern Louisiana took a 3-0 lead on a 25-yard field goal with 7 minutes, 15 seconds remaining in the first quarter.
The Redhawks scored on a Lennies McFerren 1-yard run with 6:04 to go in the half to take a 7-3 lead.
The Lions lined up to kick a field goal with three minutes remaining in the half but faked the attempt and scored on an 11-yard pass.
Southeast quarterback Kyle Snyder had a pass intercepted late in the final seconds of the half, but the Lions were called for offsides. Kicker Ryan McCrum made a career-high 54-yard field goal to tie it up at the end of the half.
The Redhawks were focused on limiting the penalties and turnovers this week in practice. They have three penalties for 30 yards while the Lions have eight penalties for 60 yards. The Lions fumbled once in the half and it was recovered by freshman Hunter Bledsoe.
