Margenthaler adds two to coaching staff
The Southeast Missouri State athletics department announced the hirings of Cameron Tucker and Lavesa Glover to Redhawks women's basketball coach Ty Margenthaler's coaching staff.
Tucker had been a head coach at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland since 2013. The season prior to that he was a women's basketball assistant coach at Houston Baptist.
He worked at Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2008-12. He served as video coordinator for the first two seasons and then was promoted to an assistant coach.
He served as video coordinator at Ball State from 2006-07 and then was an assistant at Warner University the following year. He will also serve as Southeast's recruiting coordinator.
Glover was an assistant at Valley City State University in North Dakota for the past two seasons. The Vikings won a school-record 24 games and advanced to the NAIA national tournament during her first season there.
She was the coordinator of basketball operations at Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2011-12.
From 2005-2009 Glover played basketball at Division I Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Phoenix went undefeated in conference and advanced to the NCAA tournament during her senior season. She led the team in scoring that season and finished with 1,054 career points. She was a two-time All-Horizon League selection.
"We're excited to welcome Cameron and Lavesa to the Redhawks basketball family," Margentahler said in a news release. "Both coaches have great experience and will help our team in many ways both on and off the court."
Tucker and Glover join Heather Ezell on Margenthaler's staff. Ezell is entering her fourth season as an assistant at Southeast.
