Updates from Southeast Missouri State at UT Martin football game
Southeast defeated UT Martin 31-27 in its Ohio Valley Conference opener.
The Redhawks defense came up with stops on fourth down on the Skyhawks' last two possessions of the game.

Halftime: Southeast 21, UT Martin 17
Southeast Missouri State and UT Martin have been trading scores throughout the first half of the Redhawks conference opener.
The Redhawks carry a 21-17 lead into halftime.
UTM scored on a 23-yard touchdown reception by Rod Wright with 10 minutes, 22 seconds to go in the first quarter.
Southeast tied it up on a 65-yard pass from quarterback Kyle Snyder to Peter Lloyd less than a minute and a half later.
The Skyhawks held a 10-7 lead after the first quarter when they scored with 3:57 on a 36-yard field goal.
Southeast's Lennies McFerren ran it to the UTM 3-yard line before the end of the quarter and the Redhawks scored to take a 14-10 lead on a 1-yard Snyder run with 13:15 left in the half.
UTM scored on a 24-yard pass to Kyle Kerrick about three minutes later.
Snyder scored his second 1-yard rushing touchdown with 4:24 to go in the half and give Southeast its halftime lead.
Snyder has completed 10 of 17 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown. Lloyd has six catches for 139 yards and a touchdown.
UTM quarterback Jarod Neal has completed 12 of 18 passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns.
McFerren has 69 yards rushing on 13 carries.
