Southeast football defeats No. 20 Tennessee State
Final: Southeast 28, Tennessee State 21
The Redhawks defeated No. 20/21 Tennessee State 28-21. Southeast improved to 2-0 in conference and 4-2 on the season.
Southeast's four wins is the most it has had in a season since 2010.

End of third quarter: Southeast 17, Tennessee State 14
Tennessee State pulled within three on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Mike German to Chris McCollum Sanders with 3:18 left in the third quarter.
Southeast will have it on the TSU 36 to start the fourth quarter.
End of first half: Southeast 17, Tennessee State 7
The Southeast football team maintains its lead over the Tigers at half, but TSU got on the board with a 2-yard run by Stephen Hopkins with 14 seconds left in the half to make it 17-7.
TSU had fumbled twice on that drive, but recovered both.
The Tigers attempted a 25-yard field goal with 12:16 left in the half but missed wide right.
Southeast scored on its next drive on a 1-yard touchdown run by Lewis Washington that made it 17-0 with 9:04 on the clock.
Quarterback Kyle Snyder has completed 8 of 13 passes for 103 yards. Peter Lloyd has three catches for 54 yards.
Lennies McFerren and Snyder each have 41 yards rushing.
Tennessee State quarterback Mike German has completed 15 of 27 passes for 145 yards. Telvin Hooks leads the Tigers with 64 yards rushing on 14 carries.
End of first quarter: Southeast 10, Tennessee State 0
The Southeast Missouri State football team leads No. 20/21 Tennessee State 10-0 after the first quarter.
Southeast took a 3-0 lead with 12 minutes, 17 seconds left in the first quarter on a 55-yard field goal by sophomore kicker Ryan McCrum.
Kyle Snyder scored on a 6-yard run with 8:56 remaining in the quarter.
Tim Hamm-Bey blocked a TSU field goal attempt with 6:02 left in the first.
Southeast Missouri State's homecoming game against No. 20/21 Tennessee State kicks off at 1 p.m. at Houck Stadium.

Tennessee State quarterback Mike German, who had been out with an injury, will start against the Redhawks, according to a tweet from the Tigers' official Twitter account.
