We're heading down to do interviews. Check semoball.com later for complete coverage.
Halftime: Murray State 14, Southeast 13
No. 23 Southeast Missouri State trails the Murray State Racers 14-13 at Stewart Stadium in Murray, Kentucky.
MSU took a 7-0 lead with 10 minutes, 54 seconds left in the first quarter on a 21-yard pass from KD Humphries to Nevar Griffin.
The Redhawks cut the Racers' lead to four with 1:31 left in the quarter on a 21-yard field goal by Ryan McCrum. Eriq Moore intercepted a Humphries pass to start the drive.
Southeast took the lead when freshman Adrian Davis made a 5-yard touchdown catch for his first career touchdown. That made it 10-7 with 12:48 left in the half.
The Racers' first two plays of the next drive were a 1-yard gain and a 1-yard loss, but Humphries hit Janawski Davis with a pass over the top that Davis ran in for a 75-yard touchdown 50 seconds after Southeast scored.
The Redhawks' next drive ended with a 46-yard field goal attempt by McCrum. He missed for the first time this season and MSU maintained its 14-10 lead with about seven minutes left in the half.
McCrum attempted a 26-yarder with 50 seconds left in the half and made it to pull Southeast within a point at half.
Southeast quarterback Kyle Snyder is 8 of 14 for 124 yards passing and one touchdown and has 40 yards rushing on 11 carries.
DeMichael Jackson, who has missed the last four games with a broken hand, has 49 yards rushing on eight carries.
MSU's Humphries is 8 of 14 for 118 yards and two touchdowns. He has one interception.
Marcus Holliday leads the Racers with 61 yards rushing on seven carries.
The Southeast Missouri State football team is set to kickoff its Ohio Valley Conference game against Murray State at 3 p.m.
It's a dreary, misty day, but it's not raining now and no rain is in the forecast until about 8 p.m. However, with the way the skies look, it wouldn't be much of a surprise for that the change.
Today's game should feature plenty of passing from the 1-4 Racers. You can read all about that in our game preview here.
Last week Southeast allowed 362 yards of passing in 28-21 win over ranked Tennessee State.
The Redhawks defense stiffened inside the red zone last week, and senior cornerback Tim Hamm-Bey was fantastic in knocking away three passes in the end zone. He earned OVC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance.
The Southeast offensive line was the most impressive unit for the Redhawks last week and their cause could be boosted by the return of preseason starting running back DeMichael Jackson, who has missed four game with a broken hand. We're not sure how many snaps he'll get today.
The Redhawks were ranked in one of two national polls this week, making this the first game they've walked on the field as a ranked team since their OVC championship season in 2010.
