Football Final: Tennessee Tech defeats Southeast 27-26

The Southeast Missouri State football team lost its fourth game in a row with a 27-26 loss to Tennessee Tech.
The Golden Eagles scored on a 32-yard run by Willie Davis with 4 minutes, 16 seconds remaining to take a 1-point lead.
Redhawks' kicker Ryan McCrum then was called on to attempt a 62-yard field goal with 25 seconds remaining in the game. His kick was tipped and fell short.
Southeast had moved the ball to the TTU 1-yard line on the drive prior to Davis' game-winning touchdown, and settled for a 19-yard field goal to take a 26-20 lead.
Tennessee Tech took its first lead of the game 11 seconds into the fourth quarter on a 12-yard run by Jared Davis to make it 20-16.
DeMichael Jackson scored on a 48-yard run to give Southeast a 23-20 lead with 13:42 remaining.

End of third quarter: Southeast 16, Tennessee Tech 13
Both teams fumbled on their first drives of the quarter.
Ryan McCrum made his third field goal of the day 5 minutes, 18 seconds into the third quarter. His 40-yarder gave Southeast a 16-7 lead.
TTU punted on its next drive, but Kyle Snyder's fumble on the first play of the Redhawks' drive was recovered by the Golden Eagles at the Southeast 21.
TTU's Jared Davis threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Cody Matthews and Southeast's Tim Hamm-Bey blocked the PAT to make it 16-13.
TTU has it at the Southeast 12-yard line at the end of the quarter.
Halftime: Southeast 13, Tennessee Tech 7
Ryan McCrum gave the Redhawks a 13-0 lead with a 32-yard field goal with 9:19 left in the first half.
Tennessee Tech's Jared Davis took over for Darian Stone at quarterback and led the Golden Eagles 61 yards for their lone touchdown of the game. His first two passes were 14 and 40-yard completions to Brock McCoin to put TTU at the Southeast 4-yard line.
Radir Annoor finished the drive with a 2-yard touchdown run to make it 13-7 with 3:11 remaining in the half.
Southeast's next drive ended at the TTU 33. Receiver Peter Lloyd caught a screen pass, but fumbled. He went down with an apparent leg injury on the play and was taken off the field on a stretcher.
The Redhawks have 167 yards rushing and 26 yards passing. DeMichael Jackson leads the Redhawks with 68 yards rushing on 11 carries. Kyle Snyder has 56 yards on 8 carries.
End of first quarter: Southeast 10, Tennessee Tech 0
The Redhawks capped an eight play, 72-yard drive following a Tennessee Tech missed field goal with a quarterback sneak by Kyle Snyder for a 1-yard touchdown to take a 7-0 lead with 7 minutes, 11 seconds remaining in the opening quarter.
TTU's John Arnold's 43-yard field goal attempt fell short on the previous drive. The Golden Eagles had good field position after Snyder's first pass of the game was tipped and intercepted by Austin Tallant at the Redhawks' 32-yard line.
Southeast recovered a TTU fumble 1:18 after the Redhawks' first touchdown. They extended their lead to 10-0 with a 43-yard field goal by Ryan McCrum with 4:19 left in the first quarter.
The Southeast Missouri State football team has lost three in a row entering today's game against Tennessee Tech.
Kickoff for the Golden Eagles' homecoming game is set for 1:30 p.m. from Tucker Stadium in Cookeville, Tennessee.
The Redhawks are coming off a bye week while TTU's last three games have come against the conference's top 3 teams in Jacksonville State, Eastern Kentucky and Eastern Illinois.
The Golden Eagles (3-6, 2-4 OVC) have lost their last two after handing Eastern Kentucky its first loss of the season three weeks ago. They lost to Eastern Illinois 41-10 at home last week.
Southeast receiver Paul McRoberts, who has been out with a foot fracture since the Redhawks' upset of Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 20, is expected to play today.
