The Southeast Missouri State football team leads one-win Austin Peay 21-0 at halftime.
Southeast's first score came on an 11-yard pass from Kyle Snyder. It was intended for receiver Paul McRoberts, but was deflected and caught by DeMichael Jackson to make it 7-0 with 8 minutes, 31 seconds to play in the first quarter.
That scoring drive came after Austin Peay missed a 32-yard field goal on its opening drive.
The Govs were forced to punt following Southeast's first touchdown and the Redhawks needed just three plays to score. Receiver Spencer Davis caught a pass from Snyder and ran it in up the sideline for a 71-yard touchdown with 4:33 left in the first.

Redhawks' kicker Ryan McCrum missed a 39-yard field goal early in the second quarter. Austin Peay got the ball to the Southeast 29 on the following drive before Eriq Moore intercepted a pass in the end zone on fourth-and-9. A pass interference penalty on the Redhawks negated the interception and moved the Govs up to the 14.
Austin Peay got to the Southeast 5 before Moore came up with an interception at the 2 to halt the Govs drive.
The Redhawks then capped a 98-yard drive, which included a 58-yard run by Jackson, with a 2-yard touchdown run by Jackson to go up 21-0 with 1:49 left in the half.
