The Southeast Missouri State football team compiled just 52 yards of offense as it was shutout in the second half by visiting Eastern Kentucky.
The No. 14/15 Colonels defeated the Redhawks 27-10 to improve to 3-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
EKU broke a 10-10 halftime tie with a 29-yard touchdown catch by Bryan Green with 11:22 left in the third quarter that made it 17-10.
The Colonels went up 24-10 on a 7-yard pass to Joel Brown 40 seconds into the fourth quarter and Lucas Williams made a 32-yard field goal with 2:02 remaining for the final score.
Paul McRoberts led the Redhawks with 93 yards and one touchdown on 10 catches -- all of which came in the first half.
Tremane McCullough finished with 38 yards rushing on 16 carries.
Vandeven completed 24 of 36 passes for 160 yards and was sacked three times.
EKU tight end Ben Madon finished with 117 yards receiving on six catches.
The Southeast Missouri State football team heads into halftime of its homecoming game at Houck Stadium tied 10-10 with nationally-ranked Eastern Kentucky.
After forcing No. 14/15 EKU to punt on the opening drive, the Redhawks capped an 11-play, 44-yard drive with a 3-yard touchdown pass by Paul McRoberts in the back right corner of the end zone.
McRoberts tied the school record, which is held by Willie Ponder for career receiving touchdowns with that catch that gave Southeast a 7-0 lead with 5 minutes, 34 seconds left in the first.
EKU tied it with 13:06 left in the half on a 6-yard run by Adam Lane.
The Redhawks got it to the EKU 3-yard line on the next drive but were stopped on third down. Ryan McCrum made a 20-yard field goal to make it 10-7 Southeast with 8:53 left in the second quarter.
The Colonels tied it on the next drive with a 27-yard field goal by Lucas Williams with 5:49 left in the half.
McRoberts has 93 yards receiving on 10 catches at the half. QB Dante Vandeven completed 15 of 20 passes for 124 yards.
The Redhawks have 15 yards rushing in the first half.
EKU compiled 165 yards of offense -- 36 yards rushing and 129 yards passing.
QB Bennie Coney completed 11 of 15 passes.
EKU's Dy'Shawn Mobley and Southeast's Tremane McCullough have 15 and 16 yards rushing, respectively, to lead their teams.
Chad Meredith and Stephon Williams lead Southeast with five tackles apiece.
The Southeast Missouri State football team hosts nationally-ranked Eastern Kentucky for its homecoming game. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
The US Army Golden Knights will parachute into the stadium about 15 minutes prior to kickoff.

The Redhawks are 2-4 and 1-1 in conference after a 33-28 loss to Eastern Illinois last weekend.
The Panthers stifled Southeast's run game, holding the Redhawks to a season-low 117 yards rushing.
