Southeast (2-4, 2-1 Ohio Valley Conference) enters the game two weeks removed from dropping a 31-16 decision at Eastern Kentucky. The Redhawks' offense was able to gain plenty of ground against the Colonels but was unable to find the end zone until the final quarter.
TTU (2-5, 2-3 OVC) is currently riding a two-game losing streak after falling to Jacksonville State and Eastern Illinois in consecutive weeks. The Golden Eagles are led by senior quarterback Michael Birdsong, whose 1,797 yards passing ranks first in the conference and 10th in the Football Championship Subdivision.
