Mean Machine Youth Football Team

A look into the 2017 Jefferson County Youth Football Conference team, Mean Machine, and their head coach George Foster.

Cartez Wallace Jr. and his father Cartez Wallace Sr. attempt to start the lawn mower in their backyard Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 in Cape Girardeau. Cartez Wallace Jr. or also known as "doughboy" is a captain on the Mean Machine little team and said he cannot wait to play for the big team next year. Besides football he likes to play basketball and baseball but football is his favorite because he gets to hit people.

Mean Machine was down 6-0 in the first half, then scoring three touchdowns in the second to win the game. "I don't like to lose, your parents don't like to lose, Mean Machine doesn't like to lose." Trenton Rollet throws dog toy at his home Friday evening, Sept. 8, 2017 in Jackson. Rollet played for coach Foster last year and even though he lives in Jackson and could play for their team he refuses and said he doesn't want to play for anyone else than coach Foster and the Mean Machine. "We had a great team last year I miss them all but you have to get over it." He said. Besides football, which is his life, he likes to play baseball, video games and math homework.
