Baseball: COVID-19 Baseball Showcase

Four games concluded the COVID-19 Baseball Showcase, on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Capaha Park, in Cape Girardeau, Mo. In the final pool play game of the tournament, the Southeast Tropics defeated the Missouri Outlaws 2-1. In bracket play, the Charleston Fighting Squirrels hung on to an 8-6 win over the Cape Girardeau Titans in one semifinal. In the other semifinal, the 16-and-under Missouri Bulls fell to the Southern Illinois Stix 10-1, and in the championship game, Anthony Klein threw a perfect game for the Fighting Squirrels in an 11-0 win over the Stix.
