Rib City Shootout: Dexter vs. Saxony Lutheran volleyball

The Dexter volleyball team withstood a late comeback by Saxony Lutheran in the second game and beat the Crusaders 25-20, 25-22 at the Rib City Shootout on Friday, June 11, 2021, at the Bearcat Event Center in Dexter. The Bearcats built a nine-point lead in the second set, but Saxony Lutheran twice closed the lead to one -- 19-18 and 22-21 -- before Carly Long secured match point with a kill.
