NAYLOR ó Neelyville caught fire and capped a nearly perfect Ozark Foothills Conference Tournament with a championship after its offense erupted against Naylor.
The fourth-seeded Tigers collected 19 hits as a team on the way to a 13-6 victory, winning its third straight game and capturing the OFC Tournament championship for the first time in three years.
The third-place game of the OFC Tournament was a great defensive game. Both teams kept grinding for 11 innings, but a sacrifice fly from Kennedy Thies scored P.J. Gholson in the top of the 11th. That was the difference that led to the Redbirdsí 3-2 win to earn the third-place trophy.
