Poplar Bluff had lost a hard-earned 1-0 lead in the sixth inning against Clearwater on senior day. Noah Burkey responded with a single to get on base with one out. He stole second during the next at-bat. Then third. Then home for the go-ahead run that helped lift the Mules to a 4-1 win in their first matchup with the Tigers since 2012.
