SPRINGFIELD ó A steady rain moved into the city at game time, and with more precipitation expected, MSHSAA suspended the Class 1 semifinal between the Advance and Purdy s0ftball teams in the third inning. Purdy held a 1-0 lead with two outs in the top of the third when the umpires called for a rain delay Thursday at the Killian Softball Complex. A little more than an hour later, MSHSSA decided to postpone Thursdayís games until Friday.
