Southeast Missouri State junior Justin Dirden may not have heard his name called in last week's draft, but on Wednesday his name did show up on multiple postseason awards squads.

Dirden was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings NCAA Division I South All-Region Second Team as well as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division I All-American Second Team.

The outfielder made a big impact on the Redhawks in his first season with the team as a junior-college transfer, hitting .340 with 68 RBIs and a team-high 16 home runs. He also had 30 walks and a .665 slugging percentage.

The O'Fallon, Missouri, native was second in the Ohio Valley Conference in slugging percentage, sixth in RBIs and eighth in home runs and doubles (19).
