Lady Mules host Kids Night against Saxony Lutheran
The Poplar Bluff High School volleyball Lady Mules welcomed young fans to their annual Kids Night Tuesday evening, treating the community to a night of high-energy volleyball and family-friendly activities.
The event began with a High Five Tunnel, where eager kids lined up to greet the PBHS varsity players before the match. The excitement continued as the team faced off against Saxony Lutheran in what would be a challenging match.
Despite their best efforts, PBHS was unable to overcome Saxony, falling in straight sets 25-16, 25-14, 25-21.
Following the match, the players stayed on the court to meet their young supporters, signing mini volleyballs and posing for pictures. The kids also received PBHS volleyball shirts as mementos of the evening, creating a lasting connection between the team and the next generation of athletes.
Kids Night was a success, not just in creating an exciting volleyball atmosphere, but in fostering community spirit and inspiring future PBHS athletes. While the scoreboard showed a loss, the night was a win for everyone involved.
