Rob Tate has been with the Daily American Republic in Poplar Bluff, Mo. since August 2008 and is currently the assistant sports editor. Rob was born and raised in Clawson, Mich., just 14 miles north of Detroit and is an avid Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and University of Michigan fan. He has also adopted the Rams and Mizzou to his favorites since moving to Missouri. He is a 2008 graduate of Oakland (Mich.) University where he received his bachelor of arts in journalism. Rob and his wife Sara live in Poplar Bluff.

Just got word from Doniphan AD Jimbo Blackwell that the games are off for tonight due to a couple schools will be unable to travel due to the overnight snowfall.

The new schedule will be as follows:

Wednesday Night at Doniphan
Girls: (1) Neelyville vs. (4) Greenville -- 6:30 p.m.
Boys: (1) Clearwater vs. (4) Doniphan -- 8 p.m.

Thursday Night at Doniphan
Girls: (2) Twin Rivers vs. (3) Naylor -- 6:30 p.m.
Boys: (2) Twin Rivers vs. (3) Neelyville -- 8 p.m.

Friday Night at Three Rivers CC
Girls Championship -- 6:30 p.m.
Boys Championship -- 8 p.m.

As of right now the time and place for the 3rd place games, which were originally scheduled for Thursday, is to be determined.

The rest of the week is looking good with only a slight chance for snow Thursday night into Friday:
