Rob Tate has been with the Daily American Republic in Poplar Bluff, Mo. since August 2008 and is currently the assistant sports editor. Rob was born and raised in Clawson, Mich., just 14 miles north of Detroit and is an avid Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and University of Michigan fan. He has also adopted the Rams and Mizzou to his favorites since moving to Missouri. He is a 2008 graduate of Oakland (Mich.) University where he received his bachelor of arts in journalism. Rob and his wife Sara live in Poplar Bluff.

Here are the seeds for the Ozark Foothills Conference tournament for boys and girls which starts this Saturday (Feb. 5) at Clearwater High School in Piedmont. The times on Saturday are scattered to accomdate each schools' bus travel.

Boys Tournament

(1) Twin Rivers (12-6) -- BYE
(4) Neelyville (8-8) vs. (5) Naylor (4-9), noon

(3) Clearwater (8-8) vs. (6) East Carter (1-11), 3 p.m.
(2) Doniphan (9-8) vs. (7) Greenville (1-12), 6 p.m.

Semifinals: Tuesday, 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Third place: Thursday, 8 p.m.
Championship: Friday, 8 p.m. at Three Rivers Community College

Girls Tournament

(1) Neelyville (15-2) -- BYE
(4) Doniphan (5-10) vs. (5) East Carter (6-8), 4:30 p.m.

(3) Twin Rivers (9-7) vs. (6) Greenville (4-9), 7:30 p.m.
