Rob Tate has been with the Daily American Republic in Poplar Bluff, Mo. since August 2008 and is currently the assistant sports editor. Rob was born and raised in Clawson, Mich., just 14 miles north of Detroit and is an avid Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and University of Michigan fan. He has also adopted the Rams and Mizzou to his favorites since moving to Missouri. He is a 2008 graduate of Oakland (Mich.) University where he received his bachelor of arts in journalism. Rob and his wife Sara live in Poplar Bluff.

Snow couldn't slow down the Ozark Foothills Conference tournament on Monday. All games are a go despite the snow that hit the area in the early hours of the morning. Look for coverage from both sites in Tuesday's Daily American Republic.

Monday -- First Round

At Piedmont - Clearwater High School
Starting at 4 p.m.
JV: Clearwater vs. Naylor
Varsity Boys: Neelyville vs. Naylor
JV: East Carter vs. Neelyville
Varsity Boys: Clearwater vs. East Carter

At Greenville High School
Starting at 4 p.m.
Varsity Girls: Doniphan vs. East Carter
Varsity Boys: Doniphan vs. Greenville
Varsity Girls: Naylor vs. Clearwater
Varsity Girls: Twin Rivers vs. Greenville

Tuesday is tentatively to be JV and Varsity Boys semifinals starting at 4 p.m.at Clearwater.

Wednesday is tentatively scheduled to be the Varsity Girls semifnals at Clearwater.

Thursday will be third place games for all three levels starting at 5 p.m. at Clearwater.

Friday will be championship games of all three levels starting at 5 p.m. at Three Rivers Community College.
