Rob Tate has been with the Daily American Republic in Poplar Bluff, Mo. since August 2008 and is currently the assistant sports editor. Rob was born and raised in Clawson, Mich., just 14 miles north of Detroit and is an avid Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings and University of Michigan fan. He has also adopted the Rams and Mizzou to his favorites since moving to Missouri. He is a 2008 graduate of Oakland (Mich.) University where he received his bachelor of arts in journalism. Rob and his wife Sara live in Poplar Bluff.

District Tournament Seeds

MSHSAA Class 5 and 4 districts were known last week. Today, quite a few of the districts had their meetings and some of the brackets have been set in Classes 3, 2, and 1. Here is a link to find out where your team is at.

District 3 class one, looks like Summersville the one seed, Leopold, Zalma, and South Iron, the two three and four, Does anyone have any information on Summersville or South Iron?

Don't know a lot about Summersville they lost to Winona and a couple of other loses. I think if Leopold plays well they actually have a good chance to get out of this district. I think it would be the first district championship in school history under class 1 that is.Don't know alot about that school its been vollyball or nothing in the past.
